The school was founded in 1852. Bath Academy English language courses are now accredited by the British Council. At Bath Academy, we offer a wide range of courses providing students with the opportunity to achieve academic success while developing personal and social skills in a warm, sympathetic and professional environment. Our comprehensive service in the provision of Advanced level and GCSE subjects is complemented by the popular and successful David Game University Foundation Programme which gives students the opportunity of taking an alternative route to university. Bath Academy Sixth Form Centre accepts offers a GCSE course for British students (aged 16+) and International students for the following courses: English, Mathematics, Science (Double Award – counts as 2 subjects), Business Studies, Information Technology, Additional subjects may be available at an extra cost.
